Happy Thanksgiving, friends.

Before the day gets busy, before the timers beep, the doorbells ring, the conversations rise, and the dishes stack, I want to remind you of something simple.
It’s okay to slow down today.
It’s okay to take a breath before you walk into a room.
It’s okay to step outside for a moment of quiet.
It’s okay to savor your coffee and actually feel the comfort of the mug in your hands.
It’s okay to pause and notice how fresh the air smells, how still the morning is, how small moments can anchor you when everything else feels loud.
And here’s another truth that matters even more today.
Much like I wrote a couple letters ago, it’s okay to protect your borders and your peace.
Families are wonderful, complicated things. Sometimes they bring joy, sometimes they bring chaos, and sometimes… both before dessert. You’re allowed to use your own boundaries, soft, firm, or somewhere in between in order to keep yourself grounded and safe from any drama that tries to sneak its way into the day.
You don’t owe anyone emotional exhaustion today.
You owe yourself steadiness, presence, and a little kindness. (maybe even a lot)
Most of all, thank you, really though, for being part of these notes I send out into the world. Your presence here means far more than you know. In a time when there’s countless other things that want to pull you. You’re one of the ones that stops for 3 minutes. And I thank you for that.
I hope today brings you warmth, rest, and a moment that makes you smile.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank You!
